MASSARANDUBA
Massaranduba has heartwood with a beautiful dark
reddish brown or plum color that is nearly blemished free. The grain of
the Massaranduba board is a fine smooth straight grain.
Massaranduba is also known as Bulletwood and
Brazilian Redwood.
Massaranduba is very dense hardwood, attractive, low-maintenance and
long-lasting.
Janka hardness: 3190
For comparison, Ipe 3680, Sucupira 2100, the Janka of Red Oak 1290.
Massaranduba decking is resistant to insect attack and decay. It is one
of the densest woods on the planet and is very durable.
