Also known as Apuleia Leiocarpa, Grapia, Amarealao, Marotoa, Muiratua, Muirajuba!
Garapa deck boards are one of the finest quality hardwoods available
that features a fine-grained timber that is yellow,
often streaked with brown, becoming lustrous golden-brown to russet on
exposure to the sun.
Characteristics
Our Garapa decking is responsibly harvested from
managed forest to provide a truly renewable resource. Unlike composite,
Garapa is naturally biodegradable and does not clog landfills.

Maintenance & Usability
Garapa
Decking is comparable to Ipe (stronger) and is available at a fraction
of the cost.
It naturally weathers into light silvery gray tones - there's no need to
apply annual sealers. To enjoy its warm golden-brown hues, a simple
application of an outdoor finish can be periodically applied to maintain
its beauty. Offers a 25+ year lifespan
without preservatives!
Uses
Garapa is used by those customers who would like a
lighter color deck. Garapa Decking can be used alone or with Ipe or
other complementary woods.
